The Zamfara state Command of Correctional Service has confirmed the passing of one of its Gallant officers, Inspector Shabali Adamu, who lost his life in an auto crash while on his way to his living residence at Kwararkoshi Town along Damba Gusau expressway on Monday, 18th August 2025.

The news of his passing was made known by the Nigerian Correctional Service Public Relations Officer, ASC1 Mustapha Abubakar, via a statement issued to journalists in Gusau, the state capital.

The outgoing Controller of Correctional Service Zamfara State Command, Assistant Controller General Alhaji Musa Tanko, described the deceased as a dedicated officer who gave his best in the service of the nation and the Correctional Service.

The ACG, on behalf of the officers and men, extended his heartfelt Sympathy to the immediate family, Colleagues, and the entire Nigerian Correctional Service.

Until his demise, he served in the Medium Security Custodial Center, Gusau (MSCC GUSAU).
