In a significant effort to promote entrepreneurship and economic growth, Beyond Borders Foundation, in collaboration with the Abuja Enterprise Agency, has empowered 50 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with $30,000 business grants and registered business certificates.
The initiative, which is part of the foundation’s Success Motivation 3.0 program, aims to provide a comprehensive support system for SMEs, including training, business advisory services, and access to funding.
Speaking at the event, Pastor Dr. Isaac Mark, Chairman of Beyond Borders Foundation and Pastor of Christ Embassy, Jahi Abuja, expressed his pride in the initiative, emphasizing the importance of self-reliance and entrepreneurship in driving economic growth.
The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation, Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, Honorable Temitola Johnson, commended the foundation for its efforts, stating that the government cannot do everything and needs private organizations to support its initiatives.
Honorable Johnson described the partnership between Beyond Borders Foundation and the Abuja Enterprise Agency as an “end-to-end value chain” that provides training, business advisory services, and funding to SMEs.
The Abuja Mandate Secretary for Women Affairs, Dr. Adedayo Benjamin Stanley, noted that the initiative aligns with President Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda, which aims to empower Nigerian women and promote economic growth.
Beyond Borders Foundation’s efforts demonstrate the impact of collaborative initiatives between non-profit organizations, government agencies, and private enterprises in driving economic growth and empowering SMEs.
