End to banditry in Niger state soon – Gov. Sanni Bello

Niger State governor Alhaji Abubakar Sanni Bello has reiterated the determination of his administration in ending insurgency, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal vices in no distance time in the state.
He made the declaration at a press briefing yesterday at government house in Minna, nothing that the situation has remain a nightmare for the state government despite doing a lot.
Represented by his Chief Press Secretary Mary Noel Berje who explained that the state in collaboration with the military and other security agencies are doing all it can in order to reverse the trend.
Governor Bello informed that he has supported entire security apparatus with logistics and other welfare packages to achieve effective operation, however decried over the incessant insecurity situation bedeviling the state and Nigeria.
The governor expressed worried over the high rate of humanitarian needs of the Internally Displaced Persons IDPs and appealed to federal government, corporate organizations and donor agencies to come to the aide to ameliorate the plight of the affected.
He assured that drastic action have been taking against the miscreants and restive youths who have been tormenting and terrorizing residents and disrupting the peace and stability in Minna and environ
