Remaining four Kidnapped Primary School Pupils gains freedom in Nasarawa

Security operatives in Nasarawa State have rescued the remaining four Kidnapped Primary School Pupils that were still in captivity since January 20, 2023.

The Police Public Relations Officer of the State Command, DSP Ramhan Nansel who confirmed the development, said  thePupils were rescued by members of the Force in collaboration with hunters. 

According to him the Children who were abducted while on their way to School at Alwaza in Doma Local Government Council were rescued at Doka Village in the same Council Area. 

The victims according to him are Awazi Emmanuel,  SuccessOgah, Dominion Alhaji and Success Emmanuel.

He said the Children upon their rescue have since been taken to the hospital for medical examination and have reunited with their parents.

The State Commissioner of Police, Maiyaki Muhammad Baba who expressed delight over the feat recorded by the Security Personnel in the State, thanked members of the public for their cooperation and support in the fight against crime in the area.

He called on anyone with useful information that would lead to the arrest of the perpetrators of the act and other criminal activities in the area to do so.

Reacting to the development, both the Leadership of DomaLocal Government Council and the State Governor AbdullahiSule, commended the efforts of Security Agencies in the area for their contributions towards the fight against crime. 

Governor Sule who stated that his administration will continue to give serious attention to security, promised to support Security Agencies in the State to accomplish their Constitutional responsibilities.
