Ogun Amotekun begins training for newly recruited personnel to boost security operations

The Ogun State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, has announced the commencement of training for newly recruited personnel who successfully passed the recent recruitment exercise. This initiative is part of the Corps’ ongoing commitment to strengthening its operational efficiency and enhancing security across the State.
In line with the Corps’ standard operational procedures, the training is designed to equip recruits with the essential skills, discipline, and knowledge required for effective law enforcement and community-based safety services.
The training exercise is scheduled to take place from Sunday, 6th July to Friday, 18th July, 2025, at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Sagamu, commencing daily at 8:00 a.m. Shortlisted candidates are expected to report promptly and come fully prepared for the intensive induction and orientation programme.
Recruits are required to come along with the following items:
1. One (1) bucket
2. One (1) broom
3. One (1) cutlass
4. Two (2) pairs of white round-neck T-shirts
5. Two (2) pairs of white shorts/knickers
6. Two (2) pairs of white tennis sneakers
7. Two (2) pairs of white socks
8. Two (2) white bedsheets
9. Writing materials (jotters, pens, pencils, sharpener, erasers)
10. Two (2) files containing recent passport photographs and both original and photocopies of academic credentials
11. Bank Verification Number (BVN)
12. National Identification Number (NIN)
All recruits are strongly advised to adhere strictly to these requirements and to fully cooperate with camp officials throughout the training period to ensure a smooth and successful exercise.
