A People Democratic Party ( PDP) presidential aspirant and governor of Sokoto state Aminu Waziri Tambuwal has said he established relationship in virtually all the 774 local government councils in Nigeria that the party can benefit from if given the mandate to run for the 2023 Presidential election.
The former Speaker House of Representatives and PDP Presidential Aspirant stated this while addressing party delegates in Minna the Niger state capital.
Barr Aminu Waziri Tambuwal explained that he possesses the quality of being a unifier and that his records in the House of Representatives can testify to the fact that he has the capacity to bring Nigerians together.
According to him the challenge of PDP at the moment is for them to put forward a candidate that can deliver votes and win the 2023 general elections for the party.
He said he has a team that can deliver good governance as well as re position Nigeria on the path of sustainable growth and development.
Barr Aminu Waziri Tambuwal however expressed dismay that Nigeria is divided along ethnic and religious lines that we must bring someone that have the confidence technical know how tenacity of purpose and expertise to move Nigeria to greater height.
Chairman Campaign Council Senator Tunde Ogbeha told the PDP delegates that if they need a change they must change the ruling party through voting for a candidate that can win the general elections.
PDP Chairman Niger state chapter Barr Tanko Beji said they will only consider Presidential aspirants that visited them in Minna as a mark of respect during the party primaries in Abuja.
