The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area, Hon. Damilare Ajayi, has received an Award of Excellence from Ekiti South Senatorial District of All Progressives Congress (APC).
The award was conferred on Hon Oluwadamilare Ajayi at the council secretariat in Aisegba-Ekiti by the party chairman in the district, Mr. Akindele Akinbobola, and was assisted by the Secretary Comrade Afuye Oluwaseun, on behalf of other executives.
Speaking during the conferment of the award, Hon. Akindele Akinbobola described Hon. Oluwadamilare Ajayi as a unique and outstanding politician whose contributions to the growth and advancement of the party in the district cannot be underestimated.
He particularly lauded the effort of the chairman in executing projects that have a direct impact on the good people of Gbonyin LCDA.
In his acceptance speech, Hon. Ajayi expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Ekiti South district executives for their recognition and honor accorded him.
He reaffirmed his commitment to continue serving his constituents to the best of his ability, promising to strive for further development in the community.
Speaking at the event, the Head of Local Council Administration (HLA), Mr. Christopher Arowolo, commended the executive of Ekiti South Senatorial District for noticing the impact of Hon Ajayi on the growth of the party and that of his LCDA.
