Edo Police Declare Ekuase Amos Osaretin Missing Following Benin Cult Clash that Claims Six Lives

The Edo State Police Command has declared 58-year-old Ekuase Amos Osaretin (M) missing following a violent Cult Clash that left six people dead in Upper Sakponba in Benin City, Edo State.
The tragic incident has heightened tensions in the area as Law enforcement intensifies efforts to bring those responsible to justice.
Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that Amos, who was alleged to be a repentant member of the Eiye cult group was attacked by a rival cult group resulting in the death of six individuals, including three members of the river group Aiye, two Eiye members and one of their girlfriends, making a new low in the ongoing cult rivery in the State.
In response to the escalating violence, police arrested 16 suspected members of the two cult groups involved in the clash, while the alleged repentant member of the Eiye cult group escaped during the attack and has since been searched for by the police.
The Edo State Police Command, however, appealed to anyone with information about the whereabouts of Ekuase Amos Osaretin to report to the nearest police station or contact the command directly.
