RHI, Abia first lady empowering next generation of Agricultural leaders

The wife of Abia state Governor, Mrs. Priscilla Chidinma Otti, has extended her deepest gratitude to Her Excellency Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the President, for her visionary leadership in championing the Youth Agricultural support program under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) agenda.
She gave this commendation over the weekend during the training/empowerment of 120 Abia Youths across the 17 LGA of Abia state at the Umuahia North local government headquarters, under the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) in partnership with the wife of Abia state Governor Agricultural program.
The wife of the Abia state Governor, ably represented by the Abia state Deputy Governor’s wife, Mrs. Adaeze Emetu, said that the wife of the president’s relentless efforts to promote sustainable agriculture in partnership with the federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security is a testament to her dedication to the nation’s growth.
She said that the Youth Agricultural support program is more than just a training initiative;
“It is a catalyst for change. It is an opportunity for our youth to acquire the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to succeed in agriculture and contribute to our state’s economic growth.
“This initiative showcases our dedication to unlocking the potential of young individuals in agriculture while propelling the growth of our state’s agricultural sector.
“By aligning with our nation’s vision to fortify agriculture and ensure food security, we are taking a significant step towards a brighter, more sustainable future,” the wife of the state Governor stated.
To the beneficiaries of the program, the wife of the Abia state Governor charged them to use the opportunity of the training and the resources provided to them to transform their lives and communities.
“Harness the training and resources provided to unlock your potential. Be diligent in your pursuit of agricultural excellence, innovative in your approaches, and committed to your success,” Mrs Otti charged.
In his remarks, the Abia state commissioner for Youth and Sports, Sir Nwaobilor Ananaba, thanked the wife of the president and Abia first lady for refocusing and re-engineering our people, both women and youths, to Agriculture, thereby diversifying the economy of the state and the nation in general.
