Remains of Oba Lamidi Now at Oyo Palace
The remains of top Monarch, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111, who died yesterday at Afe Babalola Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, has been brought to Oyo palace in the early hours of Saturday23, 2022 and burial traditional rites have commenced immediately.

Oba Lamidi went viral on social media in the early hours of the day but Standard Times heard from source that they await the state governor, Seyi Makinde to Make official announcement of the passing on of the monarch as heard from Bashorun of Oyo, Yusuf Akinade.
Alafin of Oyo who died at 83, have been ruling for 52 years as reported and was the third from the Alowodu Ruling House.
Yusuf Akinade, Bashorun of Oyo, is expected to be in charge of the empire rulings temporarily till the installation of a new Alafin.
