A one day workshop designed to upgrade the capacity of writers, publishers and creatives holds on Wednesday, 7th October, 2026.
Venue is the Olowu’s Palace, Oke Ago Owu, Abeokuta beginning from 10 in the morning.
A release signed by the Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors, ANA, Ogun State Chapter, Chief Abiodun Lasile, stated that the Workshop is powered by the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC) and the Reproduction Rights Society of Nigeria (REPRONIG).
Chief Lasile enjoined creatives, writers and publishers in and around Ogun State to attend the Workshop and take advantage of the rich contents of the lectures to upskill their craft and maximise their potentials.
He identified strategies to benefit from accrued royalties from published works, protecting intellectual property as well as grants and fellowships as some of the benefits of attending the workshop.
The Olowu of Owu, Oba (Professor) Saka Matemilola is expected as the Royal Father of the Day while the Honourable Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Chief Sesan Fagbayi is the Special Guest.
