Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has stated that prioritising rest, 1 hour of exercise daily, and a two-meal-a-day routine would prolong an individual’s life.
He stated this in Osogbo, Osun State, on Saturday at the book launch organised to mark the Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta states, Olatunde Badmus, on the occasion of his 80th birthday celebrations.
Obasanjo, who was represented at the event by the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, offered tips to the octogenarians on how to live longer.
In a speech read on his behalf by Adeleke, Obasanjo noted Badmus’s leadership roles in business and other spheres of life.
