Niger NUT appoints New Chairman Board of Trustees

Niger state council of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) has approved the appointment of Mallam Jaafar Ahmed as the New Chairman Board of Trustees of the Teachers Social Security Scheme, End Well.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Senior Assistant Secretary General of the Union, Comrade Musa Kuta Umaru, indicating that the appointment for an initial term of three years, takes effect from January this year.
The Union, while congratulating Jaafar Ahmed on the appointment, Charged him to bring his wealth of experience to bear in moving the Teacher’s Endwell scheme to greater success.
The Union urged the appointee to see the appointment as a recognition of his capacity and competence to consolidate the gains of the scheme and strengthen the trust between the union and members.
The Union then assured the New BOT Chairman, Mallam Jaafar Ahmed, of the support of the state wing Executive in the discharge of his responsibilities.
Mallam Jaafar Ahmed, while accepting the new Appointment, promised to uphold the confidence reposed in him, charge the responsibilities of the office with sincerity, and follow the rules and regulations of the Teachers Endwell scheme.
