One IBE Benjamin Chiemeka from Umuokoro Umuihi, Ihitte-Uboma Local Government area, Imo state with the picture attached is sexual related offender who is wanted by the police Force for his involvement in homosexuality which is a strict offence against the constitution of Nigeria under section 5(2) of the same sex marriage act (prohibition) 2013.
Ibe has been on the run since July, 2023.
For a couple of years he did not visit the village due to his involvement in the activities of LGBTQ, but his elder brother Ifeanyi Ibe encouraged him to visit home during the Easter break, on Friday 7th April, 2023, he arrived his town Umuokoro Umuihi. It was a momentous occasion to all members of his family. To capped it all, he saw James Chibuzor his missing
partner and both of them have turned big boys and have visited places and enjoyed life, they rediscovered
themselves and rekindled their gay feelings once more. Unknown to them people got to suspect them because of their behaviour and being together always. They were reported to the State Vigilante Force (SVF) Umuokoro Umuihi division that operates in different
communities in Imo State of Nigeria. From that very moment their movement were being monitored by the vigilante group.
They were caught red handed in the act by the vigilante group in the motel they lodged on Saturday 15th April, 2023, beaten and stripped naked. James lost his life at the scene because of severe pains and bleeding but Ibe was handed over to the police but how he escaped from the police net nobody could tell. Since then he has been in a wanted list.
He has refused to report to the police or the youth to face his punishment as custom demands, he has been banished, ostracized and in essence, his dignity of umuokoro Umuihi has also been revoked, his right, inheritance and any other benefits accruing to him as a son of umuokoro is revoked, stripes and terminated permanently.
James’ family his cohort who was killed at the scene of the incident, is also bent on seeing him dead like their late brother.
While the vigilante group is combing the village looking for him, the Nigerian Police Force is on the other side looking for him also.
Ibe has changed his location and his whereabouts is unknown to everybody
Anybody with useful information about his whereabouts should report to the nearest police station or the Force Headquarters, Abuja.
