The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) generated N3.087 trillion in revenue and recorded a Profit After Tax of N279 billion in July 2026, despite a decline in crude oil and condensate production during the month.
The figures were contained in the NNPC Limited Monthly Report Summary for July 2026, which also showed that the company made statutory payments of N7.913 trillion between January and July 2026.
According to the report, crude oil and condensate production stood at 1.68 million barrels per day (mmbopd) in July, down from 1.72 mmbopd in June, following operational disruptions across several producing assets.
NNPC attributed the production decline to facility outages, equipment unavailability, pipeline incidents and other production constraints affecting key oil assets during the month.
The report also showed that natural gas production dropped to 7,489 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscf/d) in July from 7,841 mmscf/d recorded in June.
Similarly, gas sales declined to 4,581 mmscf/d in July from 4,970 mmscf/d in June.
Crude oil and condensate sales also slipped to about 22.53 million barrels in July, compared with 28.23 million barrels sold in June, according to the monthly performance chart.
On infrastructure projects, NNPC said the Obiafu-Obrikom-Oben (OB3) Gas Pipeline had reached 100 per cent pipeline availability, with pre-commissioning activities completed ahead of First Gas expected in August 2026.
The company also disclosed that the Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline had reached 95 per cent completion, with construction and installation works at an advanced stage to deliver early gas to Abuja before the end of 2026.
NNPC added that it would sustain production improvement efforts through preventive maintenance, improved export operations, activation of tandem offloading at Akpo and Erha, and restoration of barging operations at Obodo to minimise downtime and enhance crude evacuation.
Beyond operations, the report highlighted the activities of the NNPC Foundation, noting that in partnership with the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), it has provided financial literacy training to more than 1.3 million corps members since 2023 and supported 531 beneficiaries with start-up packs and business grants to promote youth entrepreneurship.
