The minister of police affairs Alhaji Ibrahim Geidam have reassured that the activities of the police Academy would continue to be improved in order to produce the best sets of professionals in the global policing sector.
He made the disclosure Wednesday during a governing council management meeting held at the Academy’s conference room in Kano, where he reiterated that graduating professional police officers is the best option towards tackling the nowadays security challenges that cope with global policing.
Geidam noted that the federal government under president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is making good impact to improve the Nigerian Police forces to meet the country’s demands in personnel adding that what Is being carried out would certainly promote policing with professionalism, dedication and national patriotism.
“I am optimistic that through excellent academic trainings and performance, our goals would continue to be accomplished because all hands are now on deck to ensure that Nigeria’s security sector through good policing is actualized with optimum results”
The minister announced that sub committees on finance, disciplinary and tender’s board would be constituted to facilitate police Academy’s performance, and commended the commandant of the institution AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad for being transparent dedicated and committed to the Academy to excel under his regime.
