The Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT), Kebbi State Wing, under the leadership of Comrade Zaki Sarki SK, has congratulated the Kebbi State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Prof. Junaidu Bello Marshal, over his elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
In a congratulatory message issued in Birnin Kebbi, the NUT Chairman, Comrade Zaki Sarki SK, on behalf of the State Executive Council and the entire teachers of Kebbi State, described the elevation as well deserved and a testament to Prof. Marshal’s hard work, humility, and distinguished service to the Bar and academia.
According to the LPPC, Prof. Marshal was among the 68 legal practitioners recently elevated to SAN at its 174th plenary session chaired by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun. He was sworn in on October 12, 2026 alongside other new silks.
Comrade Zaki Sarki SK said teachers in Kebbi State are proud that one of the state’s finest, who is also a renowned academia, has attained the pinnacle of the legal profession in Nigeria. He noted that Prof. Marshal has not only brought honour to the Bar and academia but has also elevated the image of Kebbi State on the national stage.
The NUT Chairman further commended the Executive Governor of Kebbi State, Comrd. Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, for celebrating and identifying with Prof. Marshal’s achievement, describing it as a source of pride for the entire state.
He prayed the Almighty Allah to grant Prof. Junaidu Bello Marshal, SAN, more wisdom, knowledge and strength to continue to uphold justice, rule of law and service to humanity.
