As part of effort towards restoring peace, justice, equity and fairness in Nnewi, the Nnewi Solution Team led by the CEO, Gabros International, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma have continued to show their commitment to ensure that Igwe’s decision on Nnewichi producing the next council Chairman is respected.
The convener, Chief Gabriel Chukwuma while addressing the good people of Nnewi present on Sunday, June 7, at his residence said their movement is yielding fruit gradually, adding that the Governor, Prof. Charles Soludo has seen their letter, hopefully would reason with them.
According to him, they all gathered for the good of their community, Nnewi and promised not to lead them halfway.
“We are not fighting anyone. We represent the real Nnewi. No quarter should be treated unfairly. It is the turn of the people of Nnewichi to produce the next Mayor, this shouldn’t be contested.
“We are not opposition, we are Nnewi. Mr Governor has been fed with wrong information by few persons, whose motive is to destabilise the peaceful atmosphere in the community.
“We respect Igwe’s decision. Nnewichi must take what it is rightfully theirs. If the Governor decides to dance to the tune of those few persons, APGA will cease to win elections in Nnewi” Chief Gabriel Chukwuma said.
Hon. Augustine Ike (Ikedoji), Member Representing Nnewi North Constituency in Anambra State in his contribution said Igwe’s decision must be respected.
