Governor Dapo Abiodun has approved the appointment of Mr. Olanrewaju Iskeel Saka as the new Head of the Ogun State Public Service following the retirement of the former Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya.

Saka’s appointment was announced by the Ogun State Government as part of efforts to sustain efficiency and professionalism within the state civil service, citing his long-standing experience and proven administrative capacity.

Before his elevation, Saka served as Permanent Secretary in the Bureau of Cabinet and Special Services, where he was actively involved in coordinating government policies and overseeing strategic administrative operations.

In a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, the government described the appointment as a reward for diligence, dedication, and outstanding service record within the public sector.

Born on February 15, 1968, Saka joined the Ogun State Public Service in 1993 as a classroom teacher and later moved into the administrative cadre in 2006, steadily advancing through various positions to become the state’s new Head of Service.
