In Week 3 of the training program, Nigerian Baseball and Softball Association (NBSA) President Uche Odozor took to the field to put the baseball players through their paces in a rigorous sitting drill session. The training exercise, which focused on eye contact and quick reactions, is part of the baseball STEM approach that incorporates sciences, engineering, mathematics, and technology to enhance cognitive abilities.

The sitting drill, designed to improve situational awareness and fast adaptability to game situations, pushed the players to their limits. Under President Odozor’s expert guidance, the baseballers were able to develop their skills in a fun and engaging environment.

By incorporating STEM principles into the training program, the NBSA aims to give its players a competitive edge in the sport. The organization is committed to providing its athletes with the tools and resources they need to succeed, both on and off the field.

As the training program continues to gain momentum, the NBSA is excited to see the progress of its players and looks forward to competing at the highest level in the sport.
