Gov Sule gives contractor six weeks to complete work on new secretariat

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has ordered the contractor handling the new secretariat complex to complete the Project within six weeks from now.

The new Secretariat Complex, located near the State House of Assembly, Shendam Road, Lafia, when completed, will house the Office of the Secretary to the State Government, Head of the Civil Service, and other agencies of government.

Governor Sule made the demand on Monday when he paid a visit to the site of the project. 

According to him, he decided to put pressure on the contractor to complete the Multimillion Naira project executed by his administration within the period to enable him to Commission it and put it to use. 

He said the Project is dear to him because it is among the priority projects his administration has executed in the State.

The Governor also visited and inspected the installation of solar and Security Street lights at the premises of the State House of Assembly, where he charged the leadership of the Assembly to safeguard the items provided from being vandalized.
