Inalewgu separates study time from TV time, Emerges Pacesetter’s Best Mathematics Student

Pacesetter College, Guzape, Abuja, continues to live up to its name by setting the pace for students’ futures. This year’s achievements underscore the school’s dedication to grooming Nigerian students to excel in their academic pursuits and become leaders in their respective fields.  

Speaking to reporters, Praise Ochogbe Inalewgu, one of the recipients of this year’s awards and honorary recognition from the African Academic Achievers Awards, shared his secret to success in mathematics. He stated that mathematics is not inherently difficult, adding, “It only seems hard when you choose to see it that way.”

Inalewgu revealed that his ability to excel stemmed from his discipline in separating TV time from study time. He attributed his success to the support of his teachers and staff at Pacesetter College, Guzape, Abuja, as well as the unwavering encouragement from his parents.  

Born on May 29, 2014, to the Inalewgu family, Praise Ochogbe Inalewgu was among the awardees who received the Best Mathematics Student award. He was honored with a cash prize of Two Hundred Thousand Naira (N200,000) at the event organized by the African Academic Achievers Awards and the African School Diplomacy and International Relations, held at the Nicon Luxury Hotel, Abuja.  

The young prodigy praised his parents and teachers for their invaluable contributions to his academic success, noting that their support has been instrumental in his journey.
