CIBN commended for Banker’s Hall construction in Kano.

Kano state government is committed to working selflessly with every organisation that would contribute towards the development of education without bias.
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state stated this during the commissioning ceremony of the ultra-modern Bankers Hall at Kano state polytechnic for the Banking and finance department of the school of management studies Monday.
Ganduje who was ably represented by the stste’scommissioner for higher education, Dr Mariya MahmoudBunkure added that Kano state government welcomes every organisation that would make utmost contribution to education sector like Chartered Institute Of Bankers Of Nigeria like (CIBN).
She hinted that CIBN is one of the organisations that is trying to maintain the institutional cooperation in executing projects that is well equipped with all the necessary working materials in order to ensure that Banking and finance professionalism is achievable in all the six Geo-Political zones across Nigeria.
” The Governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje OFR is aware of your untiring efforts towards the progress of Banking sector in Nigeria, and from what we have witnessed, CIBN is making excellent efforts to ensure that there is adequate professionals in the sector as the globe is rapidly advancing economically”. She concluded.
Earlier in his speech, the current CIBN national president Dr. Ken Opara told the gathering that the Institute focused on promoting banking and finance profession in order to makes the sector more competent in Nigeria like what is being witnessed since the existence of the organisation.
He announces that CIBN is present at all the Six Geo-political zones of this great nation that benefit from similar gesture like what was brought to Kano and commissioned at this time when the facility is mostly needed especially to students of Banking and finance at Kano state polytechnic.
Also speaking at the event, the Rector, Kano state polytechnic, Associate Professor Kabiru Bello Dungurawa commended the Kano state government for making education more developed from his free and compulsory education policy, and thanks the CIBN for providing a complete Hall for Banking and finance students as promised.
Malam Aliyu Wada Nas, who is the Kano state chairman of the Institute told our correspondent that CIBN is a promising organisation that is also working collectively to makes Banking and finance profession more steadfast, progressive and to meet the global standard that is why the Institute is advancing due to resourceful leadership style.
