2023:  Southwest Third force adopts ADC, wants presidency zoned  to South

………….Plans mass mobilization in next 21 days

 Stakeholders from the Southwest under the aegis of Third Force have adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) to actualize their political ambition in 2023 and beyond.

Third force, is a group of patriotic Nigerians who believe that both ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have failed millions of Nigerians who yearn for good governance, infrastructural development, adequate security and social well being

The group at its meeting also called for presidency to be zoned to the Southern part of the country in 2023.

In a communiqué issued by the Southwest Stakeholders of the group after a meeting held at the Teachers House, Samonda, Ibadan Oyo State regretted that both APC and PDP have let down Nigerians and it is apparent that the present crop of leadership in our polity are absolutely clueless and totally bereft of ideas, hence the reasons for all manners of abnormalities which point to the fact that Nigeria State is not just falling by the day, but that it has failed completely to meet the yearnings and aspirations of our people.

While noting that the general election is less than a year and for the group to have a recognized identity, they all agreed that all members irrespective of party affiliation or ideological leaning should form a coalition under the structure of ADC.

The communiqué read further, “That there is a need to raise the awareness/consciousness of the populace especially at this period, when the election is fast approaching. So that the populace would not be fooled again by lunatic, unpatriotic, fraudulent, and manipulative tendencies of our conventional politicians and each state in the Federation should as a matter of urgency put in place a visible active and functional structure that will attracts the Youths, Market Women, Artisans, Academics, and Professionals etc. within the next 21 days”.

It read further, “That the Southern region should produce the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and members of the platform should as a matter of alacrity commence membership mobilization drive across wards, local government, and state levels as election is less than a year”

“Members states are advice to begin to invite interested candidates into the platform and ward meetings and  mass mobilization of Nigerian populace towards the third force agenda should begin immediately under the platform of African Democratic Congress”. The communiqué read

It will be recalled that the group visited former President Olusegun Obasanjo who identified with them and also advocated for a third force which will bring about the desired development and security Nigerians yearn for.

Present at the meeting were the Southwest Coordinator of the group, Hon Razak Eyiowuawi, Oyo State coordinator Hon Ismail Ajewunmi and Hon Mate Adelanwa from Ogun State.

Others include Dr Idowu Omidiji from Osun while Comrade Adeniyi Ojo, Segun Oloruntobi and Dr Stephen Omitogun represented Ekiti, Ondo and Lagos respectively
