Bichi Tailoring And Fashion Academy Ready For Commissioning- Professor Sabo

The executive chairman of Bichi local government council professor Yusuf Muhammed Sabo disclosed that the recently established tailoring and fashion academy provided by his administration would soon be commissioned in order to provide additional employments opportunities and promotes self- reliance to the people of all categories.
In a press statement he signed and issued to our correspondent in Kano stated that ” the local government council under my leadership has converted the local government’s KASCO store building to tailoring and fashion academy in an efforts to provides more opportinities to our teaming unemployed youths and women across our domain for self-reliance ” the statement added.
Professor Sabo announced that all the necessary equipments and learning materials were kept in place while the local government council would ensure that competent instructors are to be engaged to give best trainings so as to provides professional graduants in tailoring and fashion designs that can be proud everywhere
Furthermore, Professor Yusuf Muhammad Sabo lamented that from February 2021 to date, his administration has successfully empowered over 1000 people of both gender derived all the 11 wards which is a clear indication that the establishment of Bichi Tailoring and fashion academy would bring more employment opportunities to quite a great number of unemployed women and youths across the local government area.
Stop depending on govt for survival- Gov charge EBSU management,Assu

Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi has called on the State University management and Academic Staff Union of University of the institution to stop depending on government for survival.
Umahi gave the advise when he paid an official visit to the institution permanent site yesterday.
According to him, the both parties are making huge mistake by looking on government to do everything in the institution.
The governor also frowned at the squabbles and infighting that erupted between the Management of the State University and it’s Academic Staff Union of Universities /ASUU.
He charged the both parties to end the crisis erupting the institution. According to him,”you can not be tackling Management and you expect something to work”.
The Governor further extolled the Management of the University for the giant strides recorded by the Ivory tower. He further stressed that Ebonyi State University has increased in it’s ranking in Nigeria and all over the World.
Speaking against the backdrop of the Single Campus System proposed by the government for the University, Umahi emphasized that the resolve will be in the overall interest of the institution.
“I support the Single Campus System, we begin to look inwards, multi-campus system creates divergent policies in the different campuses. single Campus System saves cost” he said
Earlier in an address, the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Chigozie Ogbu, said that the institution signed a Memorandum of Understanding /MOU with One of the Centers of National Space Research and Development Agency /NSRDA.
According to him, the MOU will bring collaboration between the Agency and Ebonyi State government
