Ogun State: Abiodun Appoints New Head Of Service

The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, has approved the appointment of Dr. Nafiu Aigoro, as the new Head of Service of the State Civil Service.
The appointment was sequel to the retirement of Alhaja Salmotu Ottun who retired on the 4th of this month after attaining the retirement age of sixty.
A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Tokunbo Talabi, stated that Dr. Aigoro, 58, joined the State Public Service on January 6, 1998, as a Consultant (Orthopedic) on Grade Level 15.
Dr. Aigoro, according to the statement, is a Consultant Orthopedic and Trauma Surgeon with special interest in Arthroscopy and Arthroplasty, is a fellow of many professional bodies which include; the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Nigerian Orthopedic Association, International College of Surgeons, SICOT-international Association of Orthopedic Surgeons and Traumatologists and Nigeria Institute of Management, among others.
It further added that the new Head of Service, whose appointment takes effect from November 4, 2021, is a recipient of many awards, including year 2007 Best Health Worker by the Ogun State Government.
