President Tinubu to visits Enugu for first official trip

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will make his first official visit to Enugu State on Saturday, to inaugurate several key projects initiated by Governor Peter Mbah’s administration.

Chidiebere Onyia, the Secretary to the State Government, announced the visit in a statement on Friday.

During his visit, President Tinubu is expected to commission numerous completed projects, including the 30 Enugu Smart Green Schools, which are part of a larger initiative to construct 260 such schools across the state.

Other highlights of the visit will include the inauguration of 60 Type 2 Primary Healthcare Centres, out of a total of 260 planned across the state’s wards, and the multi-functional Enugu International Conference Centre.

The president will also commission 90 completed urban roads in Enugu City, along with a state-of-the-art Command and Control Centre, and 150 patrol vehicles equipped with AI-powered surveillance cameras.

Additionally, President Tinubu is set to inaugurate several completed rural road projects during the one-day visit.
