Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo was on Sunday joined by a former Governor of the state, Chief Lucky Igbinedion in a Thanksgiving service to mark the successful burial rites of the mother to the Deputy Governor of Edo state, Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa.

The Thanksgiving service which took placed at the headquarters of the Living Faith Church in Benin, had other dignitories among whom are political leaders, captains of industries, as well as traditional and religion leaders.

The service presided over by the zones head paster, Olalere Ibiwoye, told the congregation to be diligent in their service to God and mankind.

In the sermon, “Unveiling the wonders in the word, Part 1c; Supernatural turnaround,” the cleric dwelt on the power of the tongue and the ability of God to turn things around for good and for salvation purposes.

Speaking shortly, the deputy governor, on behalf of his sibblings, thanked God for the success of the burial ceremony that lasted for three days.

According to him, not only was the weather good for the family, zero accident was recorded for the burial that drew people from within and outside the country.

“We are extremely grateful to God as a family. You can see the array of dignatories who have come here to honour her,” he stated.

On his part, the former governor of the state, Chief Igbinedion, prayed for continous unity for the Idahosa sibblings even as their mother has departed.

Igbinedion observed, “You can see Madam Esther imaguomwanruo Idahosa has been given a befitting farewell.

“She lived a very purposeful and useful life, and she has left very successful children behind. It is my prayer that they continue with her legacy in oneness and unity.”

Chief Lucky Imasuen, a former deputy governor of the State, Hon. Sylvester Aigboboh, the State’s Vice Chairman of the APC, and Senator Roland Owie, were among the dignitories at the occasion.
