Model Olajumoke Onibread has pushed back against allegations of substance abuse, blaming misinterpretation of her viral video.
The controversy followed a TikTok clip that sparked concern among fans.
Speaking on Instagram, she insisted the video was purely for entertainment.
She rejected claims that she now engages in smoking or drinking.
“I’m not happy about the comments… it was just content,” she said.
She emphasised that her upbringing does not align with such habits.
“I don’t smoke or drink, I wasn’t raised that way,” she added.
Olajumoke pleaded with the public not to assign her a false reputation.
“Please… don’t give me a reputation that isn’t mine,” she said.
She clarified that even at social events, she avoids alcohol.
The model attributed the backlash to misunderstanding and the nature of online content.
She also noted that the song used in the video was not hers.
Olajumoke rose to fame after being discovered by TY Bello in 2016.
She has since rebuilt her career, including launching her talk show “Kilon Shele.”
