Chantel Princess Adetomiwa has defied the odds to preserve her father’s legacy, completing her scholarship initiative, the 12-12-12 Vision, through her education foundation, which aims to support underprivileged children facing financial barriers to education.
The milestone, which coincided with her 12th birthday on December 17, 2025, follows the vision set out after the official launching of the Chantel Adenowo Special Education Foundation (C.A.S.E.). The young advocate, formerly known as Chantel Princess Adenowo fulfilled her commitment to secure scholarships for 12 indigent children before turning 12 in the 12th month marking a major achievement in her advocacy journey.
The initiative, which began in February 14, 2025 as a pet project following Chantel’s emergence as Little Miss Decency Africa World (LMDAW) was officially launched on May 27th, 2025 focusing on providing educational opportunities and support for less indigent children struggling financially, a mission Chantel pursued with determination throughout the year.
However, the Foundation was able to secure strategic partnerships with Lagos-based schools such as Govera Group of Schools, Mercy Hall of Fame Schools, Rich Focus School, Kaydable Nursery & Primary School, and Ben-Grace Schools, as the project successfully delivered scholarships and educational assistance to children in need.
These achievement carries deep emotional significance, coming just months after Chantel experienced a personal tragedy. On September 20, 2025, the Little Miss Decency Africa World lost her father, Mr. Adetomiwa Adenowo, who served as Secretary of the foundation and was a bedrock in supporting her advocacy work. Despite the loss, Chantel pressed on and fulfilled her commitment ahead of her birthday, describing the accomplishment as a tribute to her father’s unwavering encouragement.
Honouring his legacy, the foundation has announced plans to adopt a new name, the Chantel Adetomiwa Special Education Foundation (C.A.S.E.). According to the family, the renaming reflects their commitment to preserving Mr. Adetomiwa’s contributions to education. Official registration of the new name with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) is expected to be completed in due course. Until then, the organisation will continue operating under its current legal identity while publicly acknowledging the forthcoming transition.
Chantel, who is now legally known as Chantel Princess Adetomiwa, said the name change also serves as a personal tribute to her father’s memory. Her story stands as a testament to resilience, purpose, and the impact of youth-led advocacy.
Completing the triple 12 Vision, Chantel has demonstrated how collaboration, compassion, and community support can help ensure access to education for children in need regardless of age or circumstance.
