Authorities from the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), led by Minister Nyesom Wike, have sealed the national secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abuja.
The incident occurred around 2:06 p.m. on Monday, when FCTA personnel arrived at Wadata Plaza in Wuse Zone 5 and locked the entrance gate to the party’s headquarters.
The move comes on the heels of an announcement made by the FCTA on Sunday, where it revealed plans to reclaim several properties due to revoked land titles.
The administration said the revocation affected 4,794 titles, citing failure to pay ground rent for periods ranging from 10 to 43 years.
