Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has denied claims that she has reconciled with her estranged husband, music icon Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba.
Reacting to the speculation via her Instagram Stories on Monday, Annie said the videos circulating online were outdated and were being used to spread false narratives.
“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” she wrote.
The clarification follows the circulation of clips showing the former couple dancing together at a nightclub, prompting rumours that they had rekindled their relationship.
Annie’s statement appears to have ended the speculation surrounding the viral footage.
The couple officially announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after spending more than a decade together.
The resurfaced videos gained more attention amid reports that 2Baba’s relationship with Edo lawmaker Natasha Osawaru may have hit troubled waters.
After confirming his separation from Annie in January 2025, the singer publicly unveiled his relationship with Natasha two months later. The pair welcomed their first child in November 2025.
Recent rumours suggesting the relationship had collapsed intensified after Natasha was reportedly seen without her engagement ring, while an alleged conversation involving 2Baba’s younger brother also circulated online.
Alongside the nightclub footage, another old video of Annie expressing regret over the failed marriage resurfaced, further fueling online debate.
Several celebrities reacted to the development, with many advising Nigerians against interfering in the personal lives of the former couple.
Media personality Tunde Ednut wrote, “Ah ah! I’m just seeing this. Me, I just want to see Natasha’s reaction.”
Actor Rotimi Salami added, “Dem no dey advice woman wey dey in love. Do so and waste your advice.”
Actress Evan Okoro simply responded, “Torhhhhhhh.”
On-air personality Do2dtun also dismissed the reports, joking that the viral footage was an old video while cautioning people not to underestimate Natasha’s influence.
