The Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has congratulated the winners of the just-concluded All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections for the House of Representatives across the nine federal constituencies in the state.

Okpebholo said they should remain magnanimous in victory by extending hands of fellowship to fellow party members who contested alongside them during the primaries.

According to him, the strength and success of the APC ahead of the general elections depend largely on the ability of party leaders and candidates to unite members and build a stronger front after the contest.

Okpebholo, providing purposeful and practical leadership that has continued to reposition and strengthen the party across the state, expressed appreciation to the Edo State APC Chairman, Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, for his pragmatic and strategic leadership style, which he noted has made the party more formidable, organized, and united.

The governor further advised the winners to embark on inclusive campaigns capable of fostering party unity, reconciliation, and grassroots mobilization ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

While applauding the victorious aspirants, Okpebholo equally saluted other contestants for their patriotism, loyalty, and commitment to the growth of the party, assuring them that their sacrifices and contributions would never be forgotten by the APC family.

The winners of the APC House of Representatives primary elections across the nine federal constituencies in Edo State are: Dr. Paddy Iyamu, Oredo Federal Constituency; Hon. Omosede Igbinedion, Ovia Federal Constituency; Hon. Felix Osazee Igbinovia, Ikpoba-Okha/Egor Federal Constituency; Hon. Billy Osawaru, Uhunmwonde/Orhionmwon Federal Constituency. Others are Hon. Odianosen Okojie, Esan North East/Esan South East Federal Constituency, Dr. Lucky Eseigbe, Esan Central/Esan West/Igueben Federal Constituency, Barr. Bankole Balogun, Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency, Hon. Anamero Sunday Dekeri, Etsako Federal Constituency, and Hon. Andrew Ijegbai for Owan Federal Constituency.

Okpebholo has expressed confidence that the ruling APC will emerge stronger and more united as the party prepares for future electoral victories in Edo State.
