Don Jazzy has opened up about a deeply personal struggle, revealing how years of rejection during his university days continue to affect his confidence despite his success.

In an interview with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Bounce Radio, the Mavin Records boss disclosed that he was frequently mocked by female students, who openly called him unattractive.

He admitted that those experiences left lasting emotional scars, contributing to his shyness and difficulty expressing himself publicly.

According to him, the psychological impact of that period still shapes how he perceives relationships and attention from women today.

He noted that many of those who once ignored him now show interest, a shift he finds difficult to process or trust.

“Girls used to call me ugly… it affected my confidence… Most of them are now rushing me now, why didn’t they love me then?” he said.

His revelation has sparked conversations about self-worth, fame, and how societal validation often shifts with success.
