The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), Brigadier General O.O. Nafiu, has called on corps members and staff to uphold the values of unity, service, and national commitment as they celebrate Christmas.

In a Christmas message released on Wednesday, the NYSC boss described the season as one defined by love, peace, and service to humanity, principles he noted are deeply rooted in the long-standing ideals of the NYSC.

He urged corps members across the country to reflect these values in their conduct, emphasizing their role as proud representatives of the NYSC family and as contributors to nation-building.

Brigadier General Nafiu also stressed the importance of unity amid Nigeria’s diversity, encouraging continued dedication to building a stronger and more cohesive nation.

“Nigeria is ours; Nigeria we serve,” he said.

The Director General concluded by wishing all corps members and staff a joyful Christmas celebration.
