Charly Boy drags Sheikh Gumi, calls him ‘Bandits’ PRO

Outspoken entertainer Charly Boy has taken a sledgehammer to controversial cleric Sheikh Ahmad Gumi for insisting that attacking bandits will worsen insecurity.

Gumi had argued that bandits should be “engaged, not confronted,” a comment that instantly struck many Nigerians like a slap in the face.

Firing back on Instagram, Charly Boy unleashed a blistering tirade, listing the horrors inflicted by bandits and asking why anyone would advocate dialogue with criminals terrorising citizens.

He warned Gumi to stop “legitimising evil,” saying his constant defence of bandits made Nigeria look like a crime theme park where killers are shielded instead of punished.

In a scorching rant, he questioned the cleric’s sanity, mocked his frequent calls for amnesty, and accused him of acting like the “official spokesperson and spiritual adviser” of violent criminals.

Charly Boy accused Gumi of never advocating justice for victims, saying his stance revealed “where his loyalty lies.”

He concluded by urging Nigerians to “curse the madness out of him,” insisting that any leader defending killers is part of the national tragedy.
