The Premier League’s ultimate showman is officially immortal. Belgian wizard Eden Hazard, whose dazzling feet and fearless flair lit up Stamford Bridge for nearly a decade, has been inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame, sealing his legacy as one of the most electrifying players to ever grace English football.

Hazard, 34, becomes the 26th player to receive the honour and part of the 2025 Hall of Fame class alongside Manchester United legend Gary Neville.

During his seven glittering seasons at Chelsea, the Belgian maestro delivered two Premier League titles, a Player of the Season award (2014/15), and four Chelsea Player of the Year honours.

His artistry was effortless, defenders left spinning, crowds rising, and fans believing in magic again.

Reflecting on the honour, Hazard said he was humbled to be remembered among the league’s greats.

“I grew up just playing for fun with my brothers, but my dream was always to play at the highest level,” he said. “To join the Premier League Hall of Fame is special for me and my family. I always wanted to entertain the fans, that’s what football is about.”

His former manager, José Mourinho, who guided Chelsea to the 2014/15 title, sent a glowing tribute:
“Everybody knows Eden belongs there. He’s one of the most amazing players I’ve ever worked with. Thank you, Eden, for helping me win my last Premier League title.”

Signed from Lille in 2012, Hazard made 245 league appearances, scoring 85 goals and assisting 54, numbers that only tell part of his story. His game was less about stats and more about spectacle, a blend of joy, chaos, and genius that few could ever replicate.

Now, as his name joins the immortals, one truth stands tall: Eden Hazard didn’t just play in the Premier League, he made it beautiful.
