Gov Idris congratulates Prof Nentawe Yilwatda on emergence as APC National Chairman

Kebbi State Governor, Comrade Dr. Nasir Idris, Kauran Gwandu, has congratulated Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda on his emergence as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Prof. Yilwatda was elected during the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the APC held on Thursday in Abuja.

Gov. Idris described the emergence of Prof. Yilwatda as a welcome development and a step in the right direction for the continued progress and unity of the ruling party.

He expressed confidence in the capacity, experience and leadership qualities of the new APC Chairman to reposition and strengthen the party ahead of future challenges.

“The emergence of Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda is a testament to the trust and confidence the party places in his vision and leadership.

“I am confident that he will bring renewed energy, inclusiveness, and strategic focus to the affairs of the APC,” Gov. Idris said.

He further urged all stakeholders and party members to rally around the new Chairman and work collectively towards consolidating the party’s achievements at both the national and sub-national levels.

Gov. Idris prayed for God’s guidance and wisdom for Prof. Yilwatda in his new role, while assuring him of the continued support and solidarity of Kebbi State.
