Aero Contractors unveils new discount packages for Students, Service Members, NYSC Corps Members

Aero Contractors has introduced a series of targeted travel packages designed to make air travel more accessible and affordable for specific groups, including students, youth corps members, and military personnel.
Speaking to Standard Times Nigeria about the initiative, Ikhuolegbe Samuel, Head of Marketing and Communication at Aero Contractors, said the airline recently rolled out several products aimed at supporting passengers with distinct needs.
“We have launched tailored packages for students—undergraduates, graduates, diploma and postgraduate students, as well as law school attendees—under our ‘UPRADS’ program,” Samuel explained. “These offers make it easier for them to fly at discounted rates and are easily accessible via our online platform and website.”
In addition, the airline introduced a special package called ‘Travel Lead’, which is dedicated to honoring the contributions of ex-service men and women. “This is Aero’s way of saying thank you to those who have served and continue to protect the unity of Nigeria,” she said.
Another key offering is the ‘Corper Fly Mass’ package, which addresses the travel challenges often faced by National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members during their postings. “We noticed that many corps members struggle to travel to unfamiliar destinations where they are assigned for service. The Corper Fly Mass initiative was created to ease this burden and help them report to their places of primary assignment without stress,” Samuel added.
Samuel emphasized that these packages are unique to Aero Contractors and are not available through any other airline in Nigeria. “These are personalized offers specifically designed for our passengers. No other airline provides the level of discounts or specialized services that we do,” she noted.
On the future of Aero Contractors, Samuel expressed optimism, highlighting the company’s Maintenance and Repair Organization (MRO) facility—the first of its kind in Nigeria and West Africa—as a strategic asset. She revealed that Aero recently entered into a major partnership with the Nigeria Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB), the federal agency responsible for investigating aviation incidents.
“This collaboration is a significant milestone for the entire aviation industry,” she said. “As Aero continues to uphold its reputation for safety, we plan to leverage our MRO facility to serve clients across West Africa and support the maintenance of their aircraft fleets.”
Looking ahead, Aero Contractors is also focused on expanding its fleet. “Currently, we operate with four aircraft, but we have clear plans to increase that number as part of our long-term expansion strategy,” Samuel stated.
