The Executive Chairman of Gbonyin Local Council Development Area, Hon. Benedict Oluwadamilare Ajayi, has congratulated the entire Staff of the Local Council Development Area for witnessing the 2025 Workers Day celebration.
He assured the workers in the LCDA of better welfare packages even as he called on them to be more dedicated and committed to their duties.
The Council boss, in his goodwill message issued by the Director of Information and Civic Orientation, Mr Omotayo Peter, at this year’s May Day celebration, lauded the staff for supporting his administration’s dreams and goals.
He urged them to be more dedicated and committed to their duties. Adding that government at all levels cannot succeed in governance without civil servants.
According to him, regular payment of financial assistance, disturbance allowance, monthly imprest, and other fringe benefits has been crucial to his administration since its inception just to motivate the workforce.
He noted that plans are underway to reward outstanding staff in each department in this year 2025 to further bolster their morale and encourage others to emulate them.
The council boss explained that his administration has a plan to renovate the building, serving as offices for most of the directors in the council area in a bid to make the working conditions more comfortable.
While congratulating workers on this year’s celebration, he called on the staff to enjoy themselves today and celebrate with modesty.
