Jude Osumuoh emerges Nzuko-ora new PG in Anambra

Prince Jude Osumuoh has been elected as the President General of Nzuko-ora Nnewi Town Union in Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The election which was conducted by the Board of Trustees of the Nzuko-ora Nnewi led by Sir Dennis Ofodeme (OTC) on Saturday was fully attended by a mammoth crowd.

Prince Osumuoh emerged victorious with 133 votes, defeating Prof Edward Chukwuma who got 117 votes.

While addressing the Newsmen, Prince Jude Osumuoh expressed his gratitude to God and his people who found him worthy of the position.

He appreciated the BoT for conducting a free and fair election and promised to serve his people with uttermost humility and commitment to ensure grassroot development in his community, Nnewi.

Osumuoh further promised that his leadership would ensure unity, transparency, accountability and transformation.

“The first thing I will do for my people is to build a town Hall which must be achieved with our collective efforts” he affirmed.

Hon Innocent Okoli, CEO Organizer Oil and Gas said the election was free and fair.He commended the BoT that organized the election and urged the people of Nnewi to work with the newly elected PG for the growth of their community, Nnewi.
