In a thrilling finale, Atlantic FA emerged victorious in the 2025 Niger State FA Cup, defeating Harmony FA 6-5 in a penalty shootout at the end of regulation.
This year’s tournament was marked by historic firsts, as both finalists made their debut appearances in the competition.
Harmony FA had earlier stunned Niger Tornadoes FC with a 1-0 win in the semifinals, while Atlantic FA edged out Niger Tornadoes Feeders in a penalty shootout to reach the final.
The highly anticipated match at the Bako Kontagora Stadium in Minna drew a large crowd, and both teams delivered an exciting 90-minute performance.
Atlantic FA’s triumph earned them a spot in the President Federation Cup later this year, alongside runners-up Harmony FA. The tournament concluded with a colorful prize-giving ceremony, honoring deserving individuals.
