Gov Ododo to make Upake great again, as Kogi set to witness massive road constructions in 2025

The 2025 budget of Kogi State has earmarked several critical road projects for construction, with the 37km Obabara-Uhuovene-Upake Road topping the list.
This development is expected to boost the state’s infrastructure and enhance the economic and social well-being of its citizens.
Honorable Member representing Ajaokuta State Constituency, Hon. Jibril Abu, On Thursday, the 13th of February, 2025 paid a working visit to the Kogi State Commissioner for Works, Engr. Muhammed Yusuf Ahovi, to ensure the prompt execution of these projects.
During the meeting, Hon. Jibril Abu expressed his appreciation for the Commissioner’s efforts in fulfilling his mandate and solicited further attention to road projects in Ajaokuta.
Other critical road projects captured in the 2025 budget include:
– Construction of the Ebiya-Patesi-Adogo-Unosi 35km Road.
– Construction of the Lion Club-Geregu 4.974km Road.
– Construction of the Flood Alternative Road in Nyamanyama-Joztan Plaza, Lokoja (7km C4).
The Honorable Commissioner for Works assured Hon. Jibril Abu that the Ministry of Works would prioritize the execution of these road projects, delivering significant infrastructural development to the area.
This visit marks a significant step in reinforcing the government’s commitment to infrastructural development in Ajaokuta.
