Nasarawa Assembly receives list of 16 Commissioner nominees for screening, confirmation

Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has forwarded a list of 16 Commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Speaker of the Assembly, Danladi Jatua, revealed this on Monday during the House proceedings in Lafia, the State Capital.
A watch on the list indicates that out of the 16 names, three are Female 10 are Male, 10 are newcomers, and Six are returning Commissioners.
The Speaker has directed that the Commissioner nominees should each submit 30 copies of their Curriculum Vitae to the House on or before Thursday this Week and appear for Screening on Monday next week.
The list of the Commissioner nominees includes Honourable Yakubu Kwanta from Akwanga Local Government Council, Tanko Tunga from Awe, Hajiya Munirat Abdullahi and Gabriel Agbashi from Doma Local Government Council, Barrister Isaac Danladi Amadu from Karu and Princess Margret Itaki Elayo, the immediate past Commissioner of Women Affairs from Keana Local Government Council.
Others are Dr. Ibrahim Tanko from Keffi Local Government Council, Dr. John Mamman from Kokona, Aminu Mu’azu Maifata and CP Usman Baba (Rtd) from Lafia, Mohammed Sani Ottos from Nasarawa, Mohammed Agah Muluku from Nassarawa Eggon, Barrister David Moyi from Obi, Dr. Gaza Gwamna from Toto and Barrister Judbo Hauwa Samuel and Muazu Gosho from Wamba Local Government Council.
