TUNDE BOLAJI -MINNA.

The legislator representing the Bosso constituency in the Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Abubakar S. Gwamna, has reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people of his constituency better in the new year.

He made the reaffirmation while playing host to a joint delegation from Bani Water and Unguwar Tukura communities in the Chanchaga ward of the Bosso local government area, who paid him a thank-you visit in his residence at the Bosso estate area.

Hon. Abubakar Gwamna had earlier given cash support for the two communities’ mosques, and the community members felt the need to visit the lawmaker to appreciate him for the gesture.

He revealed that when he was elected, he promised to serve the people of his constituency to the best of his ability, saying he had since been doing his best in that regard and will continue to do so.

Hon. Gwamna said they were in a position through the mandate of the people, and as such, they must serve the people diligently by providing quality representation at the assembly, as well as some dividends of democracy.

He disclosed that his doors are always open, both at home and in the office, to welcome and listen to his constituents and to provide support where the need arises or take the matter to where it could be best handled.

Hon. Gwamna also promised to take up the issue of an ambulance, Governor Mohammed Umar Bago promised the people of Chanchaga for the Chanchaga Central mosque.

He equally called on all the people of his constituency to continue to coexist peacefully and to support the present administration under the leadership of Farmer Governor Umar Bago for a better Niger state.

Earlier in his address, the former vice chairman of the Bosso local government who led the delegation, Hon. Sa’idu Abubakar Ndakwa, told the Law Maker that they were in his residence to show appreciation for the cash donation he made to the two communities’ mosques.

He observed that, unlike other political office holders who run away from their people, the Law Maker has always been identifying with the people of his constituency and urged him to keep it up.

Hon. Abubakar Ndakwa also appealed to the state assembly member to intervene in the ambulance the governor earlier promised to donate to the Chanchaga Central Mosque, which is yet to be received.

Other members of the delegation who spoke during the visit also appreciated the generosity of the lawmakers and prayed for success in all his activities.
