Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom In Trouble For Homosexuality

Since the passage of anti-gay (same-sex) acts into law in Nigeria, it never occurs to Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom from Obetiti in Aboh Mbaise local government area of Imo state, Nigeria, that it will one day get him into serious trouble until April this year.
The law prohibits any form of relationship including “domestic partnerships,” “caring partnerships,” or “adult independent relationships” between two individuals of the same sex. It also punishes any public show of affection, even a kiss, between two people of the same sex, with lengthy prison terms for those convicted of public display of same-sex relationships and people entering into a same-sex marriage.
The same applies to some villages with severe sanctions.
Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom woke up on 17th April 2024 to be met with serious trouble in connection with an alleged same-sex relationship between him, Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom, and one Master Chima Njoku on the 25th day of March 2024. He was declared wanted by the police.
He has also been banished from the community since April 2024, as a result of his involvement in this heinous act.
It was as a result of this that he escaped from the village to an unknown destination.
According to the President General of Obetiti, since Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom has absconded and refused to report to the police or the youth to face his punishment as our custom demands, he is hereby banished, ostracized, and in essence, his dignity of Aboh Mbaise is hereby revoked, his right, inheritance and any other benefits accruing to him as a son of Aboh Mbaise is hereby revoked, stripes and terminated permanently.
Though Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom is now at large, the development has brought with it fears by the family about the well-being of their son, hoping that he finds refuge wherever he is currently.
It is speculated that Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom may have left Nigeria for other countries like Germany, Italy, or The United States of America for fear of being executed or imprisoned.
But the question is will he escape the wrath of the law? Only time will tell as the Police, as well as his community leaders, are still hunting for him.
The parents of Nwaebo Anacletus Chinagorom, however, refused to talk to the press about what happened but maintained that their son couldn’t be involved in such practices; he absconded because he was afraid of being subjected to traditional cleaning or executed accordingly.
We have made all futile efforts to trace and locate him to prove his innocence.
Therefore, anybody with useful information about his whereabouts should contact the family.
