Lagos Police declare Lawal Ibrahim Oluwaseun wanted for alleged homosexual activity
The Lagos State Police Command has declared Lawal Ibrahim Oluwaseun, 39 years old wanted as he escaped after being caught engaging in homosexual activities with His gay partner Hammed Owolabi, a 38-year-old, an offense which is strict and punishable against the constitution of Nigeria under section 5 (2) of the same-sex marriage Act (prohibition) 2013.
Ikorodu Police report has it that Lawal Ibrahim Oluwaseun, who was born in Ikorodu Lagos State, and was a Printing Technology aprentice in Ikorodu where he was introduced to Homosexual Community Circle (LGBTQ) by colleagues from his School Football Team, named Juwon Aliu.
Follow a tip from someone who pleaded anonymity about “LGBTQ KISS NIGHT” that was held at Ikorodu Club on Tuesday, February 14th, 2023. Police raided Lawal Ibrahim’s house, caught him with his gay partner on the same bed on 16th February 2023, and arrested them. Lawal Ibrahim jumped out of the Police van and managed to escape.
His gay partner Hammed Owolabi has since been arrested and remanded in prison and waiting for persecution by the court, while Lawal Ibrahim has been declared wanted after all attempts to locate and arrest him failed.
According to a police report, an attempt was made to arrest Lawal Ibrahim at a nightclub in the Abule-Egba area of Lagos State on March 19, 2023, following an intelligence report that confirmed his attendance at a birthday party, but he was able to escape arrest for the third time in different locations since February.
