Tension in Nasarawa as Airstrike kills dozens of Fulani herdsmen.

Following the killing of unspecified number of Fulani herdsmen at Eyke axis in Doma Local Government Council of NasarawaState last Wednesday, people of the area are currently living in fear of the unknown.
This was the same area where Six Primary School Pupils were kidnapped few days ago by unknown gunmen.
Two of the Pupils have been rescued by the Police while the remaining Four are still with the abductors.
The current incident occurred at a border between Nasarawa and Benue State.
According to a source, the Fulanis were returning from Makurdithe Benue State Capital where they had gone for settlement to retrieve their Cows seized by the Benue State Government for breaching the State Anti Open Grazing Law and were bombed from air, leaving many dead and several others injured.
The source explained further that what happened that day was not a bomb explosion but a drone that was used for that dastardly act.
The State Governor, Abdullahi Sule while reacting to the incident, said the actual number of persons killed has not been ascertained.
The Governor who stated that no one has claimed to have carried out the act, neither an arrest made, said a mass burial has been done for those who died from the incident at Doma, the headquarter of Doma Local Government Council and was attended by the State Deputy Governor, Emmanuel Akabe, the Emir of Lafia,Sidi Bage and the Emir of Doma, among many other personalities from the area.
Sule, who called on the Fulani Community in the State to remain peaceful and avoid taking Laws into their hands, assured that his administration will ensure that proper investigation will be carried out on the matter.
