EPL: Mancity ready to chase Arsenal out of table top…..Bernardo Silva
Bernardo Silva says he and his City team-mates will not be happy until they are back on top of the Premier League.
Arsenal are the current leaders after we cut the gap back down to five with a 3-1 victory at Elland Road after goals from Rodrigo and two from Erling Haaland.
Bernardo was delighted to claim the three points in our first Premier League game back since the World Cup break, and now has his sights set on reclaiming top spot.
“It was a good performance against a tough team in a very tough atmosphere,” the Portuguese midfielder said about the win over Leeds.
“We know how difficult it is to win there because last season it was very tough as well. I am happy to be back with a win.
“We know that we have got a long way to go and we are not at the top so we are not happy with that. We just need to keep working, keep winning games, three points after three points, we will try to get there
