Oduduwa Nation Agitation

Chief Sunday Igboho, The self acclaimed Oduduwa Nation agitator and other supporters have been on the government’s wanted list for a while now, and the federal government awaits his repatriation from Benin Republic back to the Country to face prosecution by the government. He has been released from detention in Benin Republic for medical treatment as we speak.
The movement by the Yoruba youth has been put on hold and every meeting point by the Oduduwa Nation agitators were attacked by the Nigerian Police force and many agitators were arrested.
On 25th April 2021 chief Sunday Igboho the leader of the Oduduwa Nation agitation was force to run for his life, when the Nigeria police force attacked his residence in soka area in Ibadan, Oyo state, Nigeria, chief Sunday Igboho was lucky to make it out alive while five of his cohorts were killed and many taken into custody by the police.
A protest was initiated by the agitators in Lagos on the 3rd of July 2021, which was a peaceful one throughout the Yoruba States, Lagos, Ekiti, Oyo, Ondo and Ogun state.
On 25th September, 2021 the Ikorodu local government area of Lagos state, chapter of the Oduduwa Nation agitator meeting point were attacked and member picked up in every corner of Lagos state and detained at the police custody. In the space of two week more than four members has been arrested and detained without prior judgment.
Since then the meeting places have been under investigation and members still been hunted down.
The Latest success of the police was the arrest of a close ally of chief Sunday Igboho who is the chairman of the said chapter.
Mr Kasali Nurudeen Akanni was said to be arrested in his home town, Ikorodu, Lagos state. His arrest is said to lead to a close information by the strategic police formation set for the agitation member across the country.
With believe that his third in command mr Animasaun Dele is still at large and wanted because of his impact in the chapter, he was a soul representative of the Ikorodu Lagos chapter, mr Dele was last seen on the 9th of October 2021in Ikorodu Lagos by the police force. Investigation and Findings are still ongoing, if seen, arrest and report to the nearest police station or to the state command, Ikeja Lagos state.
